This was created in the late 1800's to honor the first King of unified Italy. It is huge and hides most of the palatine and capitol hills behind it. You can probably see it in the photos from the top of Saint Angelos.

CIAO & Γειάσου - The Honeymoon Begins!!!
Only 8 months late but we are finaly off. We'll be leaving July 22nd for Rome, with a very quick stop over in Milan. Then after a short week we're heading over to Athens and then onto Santorini!!! Ryan's bringing with his phone to e-mail so we'll be updating our blog here with news and photos as we travel. We are new at this, so bare with us!!!
